24: Re: Faroush al Faroukh

February 1769

Respected Colonel,

I shall certainly inform others of our Company of your Intentions so inscribed. I myself shall attend you at Westminster Steps at the appointed Time, with Such as may choose to accompany me.

In performing this Act you have, if I may put it in the words of Prince Arjuna’s great Charioteer Lord Krishna, “fulfilled your Kshatriya Duty” for the Upholding of Dharma. That is to say, you have accepted the Burden of the Soldier and regretfully delivered Death and Violence where it is needed in Pursuit of the Great Balance. The Result, I believe, will counter Those who seek to tip the Balance between Bhuloka and Pretaloka against us. If you would prefer it to be considered so, I believe you have also done your charitable Christian Duty in relieving Faroush al Faroukh from his unwilling Servitude under the Turk and the Asuras who infest them.

I am heartened that your Divining of al Faroukh’s Person was of greater Success than on our previous Attempt, doubtless through being performed within the correct Loka to enable Success. Since the Gate at Flyte-in-the-Hole is not the Same through which he first entered Pretaloka, the Mark of that Place will still be upon him (as it is on us) and he will remain susceptible to its Influence. We must guard him therefore as we might guard our own Ātman. I trust he has now been delivered of the physical (and perhaps symbolic) Shackles of that Place of Dust and Hunger.

It is of further Interest to have our Assay as to the Nature of Maxwell confirmed; one may feel some Joy, but more Pity, for a Man so denied the Mortal journey to Enlightenment. We may be grateful indeed that in his current State he retains some Mortal Concerns.

Your servant,
Nripendra Rao
